Hi! Welcome to my other world...the world of travel.Most recently, we were in the Sahara following the salt caravans from Bilma and Fachi, both ancient salt towns in Niger. The photo is of the sand dunes in the Sahara.

We camped in the Sahara in the beautiful dunes, visited with Tuaregs and other tribal groups. Timia was a haven after 2 weeks on the camping route. There we experienced a Tom Tom where there was music, dancing, and camel races.

|
Along with my passion for the desert, I have a love of tribal jewelry and artifacts. This perfect marriage of desert travel and shopping allows me to bring home a little bit of the Sahara with me. In fact, I now have plenty of treasures to share at the annual Ethnic Annie's Tribal Bazaar.

Some of the treasures come from as far away as Afghanistan and Myanmar (Burma). If you are in the Los Angeles area and are intersted in attending one of the bazaars, please email me with your info. It's great fun to share with you photos of the journeys as well as the wares brought home.
